As part of our Carbon Trust funded solar concentrator project, Microsharp has developed a highy hydrophobic microstructured film. Self Cleaning Water falling on the structure forms into large droplets which roll down the film, collecting and removing dirt particles. Anti Reflective The structure also has anti reflective properties that increase the amount of incidental light that passes through. Applications The structure will be used initially in combination with our Fresnel Lens structures to produce a self cleaning, anti-reflective, solar concentration film.
