Microsharp has the capability to design a range of optimal optical film designs, including prismatic, lenticular, Fresnel and 3D prismatic/lenslet designs. It conducts analyses using a range of software, including ray tracing and other analyses with Zemax. For specific applications it has developed in-house software. For example it has software capable of generating optimised surface structures to create diffraction effects capable of masking heavily pixelated microdisplays (depixelators).
