Microsharp granted new Japanese patentMicrosharp has been granted a new Japanese patent: number 3729215. The patent covers the use of Microsharp's GRIN diffusers in conjunction with black areas which can be printed on the diffuser in order to improve contrast. The diffuser can then be applied as a contrast-enhanced rear projection screen. This patent has already been granted in the USA and Europe.
